Touch is essential
What is Reflexology?
Reflexology maps the entire human body on to your feet, hands, face and even your ears to form reflex points. A reflexologist uses their fingers, thumbs, and other hand techniques to apply pressure to these reflex points. Doing so engages your central nervous system, and in turn soothes illness, relieves tension, and encourages balance. A safe and supportive complementary therapy, people of any age can experience the therapeutic benefits, from newborn babies to parents to be, to retirees. Reflexology is not a cure. Reflexology is not a switch. Reflexology is a complimentary therapy that grounds us and encourages our minds and bodies to balance.

Reflexology with Rosie
Hi, I'm Rosie. Clinical reflexologist practicing in Leicester, England. Dog lover. Life-long advocate of touch. As a unique human being you are in a constant state of change (however subtle it might feel sometimes) so I curate each session bespoke to you and no two treatments are ever the same. My touch therapy on your feet or hands is guided by my ever-expanding knowledge, tapping into my intuition, and most importantly: listening to understand you. I see you as whole. Never as a list of presenting symptoms. And because connection is so fundamental to outcome, I will connect in a way that feels right for you. Through the art of touch, we aren’t striving for perfection, we are finding your unique balance. How special is that? One of my clients recently described their treatment time with me as “a safe space to practice self love in and truly relax”. I'd be honoured to welcome you into my confidential treatment space. A space for you to be seen, heard, and supported. A space where you can laugh, relax, and simply be.

When you feel snowed under or overwhelmed, your body releases stress hormones, including cortisol. Excessive or prolonged cortisol release can adversely affect your health and wellbeing. One of the biggest things a reflexology session can do is help you feel more relaxed by calming your blood pressure and heart rate, and reduce the effects of stress to allow the immune system to work as it should. Many people explore reflexology for the first time when they are feeling out of sorts or are experiencing illness or disruptive symptoms. Those in good health, with no acute emotional or physical symptoms have reflexology on a regular basis to maintain their wellbeing and help prevent illness by proactively taking care of their immune system.
